Step 1: Windows search is working fine. Step 2: I have done a repair and re-indexed three times with no success. Step 3: I have already created a new profile and set it as default. One other thought When i created the new profile, I deleted the old pst file as gmail copies everything off the server anyway. That is why I am keen to resolve this!

If I search for an email address, nothing shows up so it is not searching outook. I have done a repair and re-indexed three times with no success. It works for a short period then the problem re-occurs.

Now you may copy the location from the Windows Explorer window and paste it into the Scan pst tool to scan the data file. I am not referring to Internet Explorer as your issue is related to Outlook we need to address the Search functionality of Windows Search.
